We’re excited to launch a new King County Child Care Health Consultant (CCHC) Registry! This registry is a new tool for child care providers, including family, friend, and neighbor caregivers, license-exempt programs, and providers in licensed child care programs to find and contact independent CCHCs and CCHC teams serving King County.
Best Starts’ Child Care Health Consultation strategy promotes the health, safety, and development of children and caregivers in child care settings through coaching and training for child care providers. CCHC services include behavior consultation, nutrition consultation, infant room nurse consultation, STARS-eligible trainings, and much more! Many services are culturally specific and/or may offer interpretation. Watch this video to learn more about child care health consultation services.

How to get started
1. Explore the registry at bit.ly/CCHCRegistry (You do not need to create an account).
2. Select a region on the map, or use one or more filters to find and contact consultants near you.
3. Click on “Contact” to complete a contact form to connect with a CCHC or CCHC team.
4. Expect a response from the CCHC or CCHC team within 3 business days.
Tips
Tip #1: Use the dropdown menu at the top right corner to select a language and view the website in your preferred language.
Tip #2: After the initial search, use the filters on the left to refine your search by regions served, services offered, age group, providers served, languages spoken, interpretation services offered, and fees.
Tip #3: Click on the cards to learn more about each CCHC / CCHC team.
Tip #4: Click on + My List to contact multiple CCHCs / CCHC teams at once.

Child care health consultants can create a profile, get added onto the registry, and be discovered by new clients. All profiles are vetted prior to inclusion in the registry. You do not need to be a Registered Nurse to be included.
