Best Starts’ Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) strategy invites all King County providers to enhance knowledge in community and solidarity. Centering the baby in all sessions and grounding our work in equity and social justice, we will present our IECMH Guiding Principles and promote social emotional development for our prenatal to five children in King County.  


This 3-day event will offer a variety of Infant and Early Childhood topics that include: 

  • Attachment 
  • Grief and Loss 
  • Equity and Social Justice 
  • Supporting Children to Manage and Express a Full Range of Emotions 
  • Family, Community, Culture 
  • Promotion of Relational Health for Very Young Children and their Families and more! 

The IECMH Summit is free to attend, and interpretation services are available upon request.
